I've got a 1969 B Body, and I'm looking for a way to make it more modern and more daily driver friendly (i.e where my wife could drive it too without me getting "it wont start" phone calls, etc.).
I've got a line on a 5.7L hemi complete out of a crashed 2004 (I think) pick up, so all the electrical, etc is all there.
Has anyone tried this?
If so, what's the good, the bad, the ugly (like how much does it cost)?
And, if you've done it, was it worth it, in your opinion?

Look at b body stiffeneing or late model hemi into early b bodies, both show the in's and out's of doing the swap. There are differences between the two, one more for the high end the other for a modern drive train with everything else being stock. Check them out in 62-65 and 66-70 forums .
