Has anyone here used Versatube for a building?

I just recently had a 12×36 put up for our Tritoon, having seen a few installed previously I chose to put in my anchoring.. in Ohio they stake them to the ground with rebar:eek:. Being 36' long I drilled 3' deep holes every 6', poured them full with concrete then anchored treated 6×6's to the tops. When they showed up all they had to do was lag bolt it down and erect it. I didn't pay for any add ons just reinforced what I felt it needed when they were done.

I like the treated lumber approach, keeps the steel up off of the damp ground and gives you a nice 6" tall boundary to keep the gravel inside and out of the yard.

In FL, you get giant "screws" for anchors that are about 5" across and 24" deep or longer.

The ones I have have more turns to the screw.

I am going to pour a concrete "curb" to set it on ( hopefully poor a slab under it later) and where an anchor hole goes dig a 24" deep hole and fill it with concrete after installing a LONG anchor bolt in the hole....
