Has anyone moved their bucket seats back? 64 Polara

Thanks. An inch or two would make a big difference I think. Add 2" and then adjust the seat as needed. The way it is now, it is back all the way and not far enough. I think I'll give them a try.
Those are very similar to the ones I made, except mine were one longer piece per side. If you like fabricating, $10.00 worth of aluminum and a little time will get you there; otherwise the ones shown above should take care of it for you. Pull the bolts/nuts off your driver's seat and set it back a couple of inches and then carefully sit in it. Better?

That power seat base looks like a winner. Were the track extensions anything like these? I just started poking around to see which ones may work the best.

That's them. I think I only bought one set of 4 to do just the driver's side. Even one bench seat would only need 4. If you notice on the lower frame part of your seat, there is a set of three holes the studs can be mounted in. The factory mounts the studs in the centre hole. You can gain an inch by knocking these out and moving them to the forward hole. They are kind of hard to knock out, because the factory swedged them in. A little grinding in there with a Dremel grinder might make things easier. Then you can JB Weld them into forward holes.
I was going to ask but I think I figured it out. The brackets go between the seat and the factory base. I was thinking they went between the base an the floor. Now how is that going to work? :BangHead: :BangHead:
