Thing's are normal down here in Florida. Outside for about a half hour and feel like you're gonna pass out and you have swamp ***.
I was tryin' to be kind, you ol' geezer ! Here's one from my youth
LOL! Moved my daughter to Miami Beach for her new job – then – moved her back three years later. Drove a sizeable truck down there in – late-JUNE! Oly chit the heat/humidity = swamp ***, pits, head, etc. plus moving furniture up a flight of stairs. And driving a large truck around there was a hoot. Took off a few sizeable tree limbs…and 15 bucks for a frozen margarita in a Dixie cup…no thanks hey.Thing's are normal down here in Florida. Areas of the PNW are having a record, or near-record breaking cool and wet Spring. Would be happy to trade half of it away for some of your sunshine.
One of my fav's from my yout too!
I remember many June's like that in Oregon.... Waiting and Waiting and Waiting for some nice spring weather ( never happens) and after the last 8 or 9 months of cold, rain and grey skies and you think June will finally bring some blue skies and warmth.... Not until the end of June usually if I remember my 57 years there.....Yep, middle of June and i don't think it's broke 75 yet. Frost last night and supposed to be up to 68 this afternoon. It's gonna feel like a heat wave. It is really green though and the grass is about 4 feet tall from all the rain.
Oh, knock it off !!! San Diego got the best weather on the planet !! Stop rubbing it in !!Balmy in Socal (N San Diego county), pretty much 70s last couple weeks. Doesn't cool off much at night tho, low 60s.

Not far from you in Apalachicola, lived a man named Gorrie who is credited with being the father of refrigeration. I grew up in south Florida and didn’t have a/c until I was about 29 years old. Now I am spoiled and can’t be without it. I wonder how overpopulated Florida would be without a/c.Hit 100 right after noon today. Humidity is 51% which is low for us in North Florida.
We call it air you can wear around here. The worst part is it is yellow and horse fly season around here just to add to the already bad mosquito's from the rain last week. Florida is a real paradise sometimes !
