I have been reading endlessly on the forum and elsewhere trying to figure out what kit was best for me to convert my 69 RR with manual drums and OEM sway bar over to manual discs.

I believe that I have decided on a kit from Master Power. I have read a few good reviews and they seem to have a very complete kit and good quality parts.

I am wondering if anyone has installed these and can share their experience.

Thanks
Scott

I used them.
Put them on my 1970 Superbee.

Reservations?
Yes, some quality conntrol issues.
Example: On one caliper, in order to "mate the halves, I had to grind off some extra material left from casting.
Also, the Bulky GM type Vacum booster is unattractive.
Third, Instructions directed mte to drill a new hole in pedal assembly to account for misalignment issues.
I did and ended up using the original hole.

But: They are selling the kits everywhere.

Dont make the mistake I did and purchase the "Cross Drilled" rotors.
A waste of money in my opinion.

x2 on checking out the Ramman.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am really looking for the most complete kit, good quality, easy to install for under $1k. This will be the first time I've done this and am just looking to save the time that is involved with tracking parts down.

I bit the bullet and purchased the Right Stuff detailing kit...seems like forum members had good success with this kit. should be here his week. I am in the process of figuring out what I want/need for front end suspension kit. Thanks for all the responses

I bought the kit sold by Pirate Jack and have no reservations. I especially like the fact that all the parts are later model Mopar stuff and replacement parts are easily obtainable.

Installed Master Power Brakes 11 inch discs on my 'Bee in 2006, NO problems installing or running ever since. Best upgrade I made to car in 16 years of ownership! Car was a 4 gear and we all know with a four gear you stay in the throttle longer before shifting down to stop. I was no different. Discs up front is the only way to go.
Don't go crazy on fancy brand brakes. They are for stopping, not kissing.
