Having an issue looking at New Posts

It used to be that when I opened a post that I previously looked at it would take me directly to the newest post. Now when I open one it takes me to the original post and not the newest reply. Why would this be happening?

only when logged in, maybe? were cookies cleared? Not sure, but the website wants to put you at the last "unread" part of any post. If it's thwarted, it could be a security setting on your side.

When you walk three steps forward, then two steps back, how many steps have you taken ? If you say five, then why are you only one step forward from where you began ?

Placeholder works for me about 90% of the time unless it's a really old thread I haven't bee in in quite a while.

"Jump to new" almost always works then, and resets the cookie.
