I noticed some coolant dripping under my car. Fresh build ( 500 miles ) on my "70" 440. Completely stock engine. I found coolant coming under one of the head bolts by #3 plug. Could the coolant be coming up the bolt & weeping out??

Might be coming from the exhaust manifold bolt/stud.
It doesn't look that way. Could the hole in block extend all the thru taht the head bolt would need some sealant on it.

I’m pretty certain none of the head bolts go into the water jacket. Exhaust manifold studs do. If the head is cracked it could leak water around the head bolt though.

If it were mine. 1 Verify for certain it’s not an exhaust manifold stud leaking. 2 check torque on head bolts. If those don’t work, time to pull the head for further investigation.
