Head gaskets

Putting together a 440 motor 10.7:1 pistons, I noticed I bought Fel Pro 1009 gaskets with a bore of 4.410. The engine is bored .30 over ( 4.350 ) Already opened package and throwed away. Can I use the gaskets or do I need to buy new ones ?

You will be fine, the opening in the gasket provides for some clearance around the bore.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, But I believe the issues with the 1009 gaskets have been on the "B" engine stroker builds. I think they hang over the bore when you oversize the cyl and use this gasket. Like you stated, the bore of the gasket is still larger than the 440 at .030" over, so you'll be just fine.
