Head Gaskets

Having trouble finding steel shim head gaskets for big blocks. The Mr. Gasket version has some kind of clear coating that looks irregular, and Mopar Performance gaskets are crazy expensive. Has anyone used the Superformance brand?

The superformance head gaskets are .022 think. I like his other gaskets, and great customer service.

The mr gaskets are fine with the coating, just use them.

I used the Superformance on my 413 2 years ago. No problems so far.

I did coat them with the copper spray.

I believe the superformance and Mr. Gasket are the same. Either will work. The Mr. Gasket coating looks like aluminum paint on the ones I have.

I used a set of Mr. Gasket about 2 years ago, silver coating plus some kind of clear with drips? Looked sketchy but seemed to work ok.
