Hi all, I've got a set of Patriot headers on my '69 Sport Satellite. Unfortunately, since I've lowered my front end for a more aggressive stance, the header tubes are just too low and are hitting any kind of raised structures, such as speed bumps, repeatedly. I've noticed before I lowered the front, that the headers were kinda low anyway.
I would like to keep the car's stance as is but the header, especially, the passenger's side is only 2" to the ground. I believe the reason for the low headers is the placement and size of the starter, etc, but I'm not sure.
Are there any other header makes that do not droop as low? Anybody have any similar experience with Patriot headers?
THANKS!
