Odd issue with the installation of my heater A/C box on my 69 Charger. The car was disassembled 2 years ago for restoration and is a factory all original car. The car is back from paint, the heater A/C box is rebuilt and ready to install. I have the 5 factory nuts that i bagged when I disassembled along with these 5 washers. I have not seen these washers on any other cars and checking with my restoration shop who primarily works on mopars has not seen these washers before. I also see no need for the washers, the factory nuts have washers attached to them. Has anyone else ran into this before?

They go on the stud before the box goes in the car. I think its more for support than it is anything else.
And they are only on factory air cars

Thanks, I just learned something. Having not pulled a factory A/C box before other than one I parted out I didn't realize that.
