Is there a number on your old switch?

1971-72 B Body A/C heater controls are the same.
1973-74 B Body A/C heater controls are the same.

The fan speed switch is horizontal on 71-72.
The fan speed switch is vertical on 73-74.

But I believe that the switch is the same for all 71-74 just positioned differently.

1st pic shows one of each (71-2 & 73-4 B Body).
Also, 71-72 B Body or 73-74 B Body A/C heater control or heater control are the same for both rallye and standard sweep gauge clusters.

I have a really nice 73-74 B Body A/C heater control (just needs new fascia) but I don't want to sell the switch separate from it, selling complete. Removed from a 1973 Satellite. Fan switch part number on it is: 685 0083. The attached pics after the first one are of my control.

Thank you for the post and the pictures. I have forwarded them to my mechanic in hopes that he can match up the number to the current blower switch (the car is currently at his shop). I'll get back to you after I hear from him.

Thanks,

Jeff
