I guess I should give a full disclosure here in my introduction on this forum. I personally don't have any B body mopars but my girlfriend just bought a '69 Roadrunner that were going to be fixing up together. So, I figured I'd join the forum in hopes of using the wealth of knowledge had by some of the members here.
I've always loved muscle cars and hot rods. I've always found mopars to be some of the most fascinating with their crazy performance engines, great styling and the high impact colors.. I've been working in my father's restoration shop for the past couple of years. My first car was a '65 mustang fastback, I traded that for the hot rod I'm now in the process of building. It's a '37 ford pickup.
As for my girlfriend I guess it really all started many years ago when her mother owned a '70 Roadrunner. I guess the mopar loving thing is hereditary! Just recently she went to a car show for a few days with my family. When we got back she started searching the classifieds for something like her favorite car at the show (a '68 Roadrunner) and she hit the jackpot when she found the '69 she ended up buying.
So that's the story of what's brought me to this forum. I've been members of other forums before (jeep forum and the h.a.m.b.) and they weren't the best experience. Alot of 'know it alls' who really don't know much at all spouting off and going on tangents all the time about anything they could possibly complain about. I'm hoping this forum will be alot better than the others and from what I've seen so far it looks like it will be.
