I recently sold an old Datsun I restored and now I'm ready to get back to my Mopar roots. I'm soon to be the proud owner of a rust free 66 Belvedere II equipped with a /6 and 3 on the tree and am really excited about it ... so excited that I went to Deer Valley Auto Parts (DVAP.com) to scope out their mid 60's mopars ... very disappointed with their inventory and prices ... $900 for a "core" 318 and 727 ... geez.

Anyway I'm sure I will be posting a few questions and want ads in the near future and hope to not be too annoying ... Jim

Welcome sounds like a great project good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome Jim.Post some pics when u get a chance- maybe someone here can point you in the right direction of a cheaper 318/tans

Welcome, sounds like a great car for a project. You have so many cars down your way it would be hard to make a decision on a nice Mopar. Post some pics when you get it.

hi and welcome aboard. sounds like a good find. i like that model year.
take your time and think big. there is no replacement for displacement.
unless you are the lead dog the view is always the same.

just joking around. have fun, thats the secret.

Welcome, nice to see a project that's a little different.

Well ... the '66 Belvedere deal fell through as did a 68 Barracuda I was looking at.

Finally ... after searching craigslist for almost 2 years I found my 64 Polara 2dr Hardtop in LA and it's on it's way to my house as I type.

It's a really nice car with a 383 2bbl, 727 pushbutton, factory air and the best part is almost ZERO rust (2 small spots). It has 110k on the car and was owned by the same family since it was purchased new.

With some minor body work, paint and a little TLC on the interior it should be ready to cruise the streets again.

As soon as it arrrives I will post up some pictures.

That sounds like a winner, Looking forward to the pictures good luck!

Welcome...How about a few pics of your 66 b body?
