Hi all,
After lurking here for a couple of months, it's time to become a official FBBO member
.
I must say, i have read a couple of very useful threads. Most about rebuilding front suspension and steering.
I am now in the process of rebuilding my 67 coronets front.
Oh yeah, I live in The Netherlands (You know, wooden shoes and windmills ;)).
That means it's sometimes hard to get parts for your car. If you have a Chevy, there's no problem, but Mopar is a different story.
But fortunately parts ship easy via e.g. Fedex out of the USA.
Some specs of my ride:
It's a 1967 Dodge Coronet 4 door sedan.
With a 318cui engine running on petrol and LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas).
That's because the owner before me used this car as daily (petrol in The Netherlands, and in Europe in general, is expensive).
The 318cui is backed up by a 727 automatic. The rear axle is a 8 3/4 with 2.94 highway gears.
Dual exhaust with Flowmaster 40's (no H or X) two separate pipes for that extra low v8 sound :icon_super:
I have put in a lot of new components e.g.: electronic ignition, startermotor, rear leaf springs, new wiring.
And now a complete rebuild of the front steering and suspension.

I'm a big fan of steelies, so I've put on 15" copwheels with dogdishes and topped it of with BF Goodridge T/A 's
