Hey everyone,

I've been on here for a while, but have not really posted. I thought I should finally introduce myself. I purchased a '68 Roadrunner shell a little over a year ago and just recently picked up a pair of '66 Chargers. They are all VERY rusty and likely need the rear frame rails, crossmembers, floor, trunk, and quarters replaced.

'68 Roadrunner - I bought as a shell with no fender tag. It's a pretty bare bones 383 4-speed car as far as I can tell
'66 Charger - green/orange one is a 361 auto originally in green
'66 Charger - orange one is a 383 auto originally in silver.

Happy to be here and looking forward to getting a lot of good info and help!

Welcome from Alabama, what are your plans restore, part, sell, or some of all?

Welcome from NY.
I'm used to seeing rust but all of those are pretty far gone.
I hope you know what you are in for...

Welcome aboard from Ohio.

Hello neighbor - I likely reside 5 miles from ya in Colgate area. Joined this forum few years ago and wish I'd a done it sooner as the members here have been tremendously helpful when restoring my old Plymouth, great tips, locating parts, etc. from guys that know their stuff and kind enough to share their knowhow. And on occasion its been nice that I could help out others as well. Hope to see ya at the shows and maybe we already have!

Welcome aboard Sir, from the middle of the mitten. First car was a 69 RR 383 (long gone now) and there is a Gen I 66 Charger sitting in storage waiting for it's turn in the queue (at the rate I am going it will be at least 3 more years). They can all be saved but sometimes the cost is just too high. I guess if the car is special to you or if you do all the work yourself because you find it relaxing and fulfilling, screw it and just go for the gold!!! Best of luck.

7 1/4 rear in that runner....sure its not a satellite?
