My car has a Weiand intake with a Holley 700 double pumper. Works great.
Edelbrock makes good stuff too.

A pair of shackles in the back, to clear some street slicks, was normal back in the day.
But keep in mind, if you do that, you're going to get challenged on the street ALOT !
You better bore and stroke that poly, or swap in a 440 before you shackle it.
Myself, I'm partial to a maxed out poly with tri-power or dual quads.
440's are a dime a dozen.
You can find a hood ornament, I've seen them for just about every motor. Or make a custom one...it's your car now, you can make it your own. Have fun with it.
Give us some specifics on the intake and carb. Also, Year One will probably have the correct harnesses for your car.
Awesome first car!! Let me be the first to tell you, BUILD THE CAR THE WAY YOU WANT TO!! Don't be afraid to pull the numbers matching 318 poly to make room for a 440 or even a Hemi! If, that's what you want... (hint hint) I bought a 43k original mile 2 door Belvedere I. I plan to drop in a 440 this winter, and possibly a cage.

There is a 4V intake available for the poly 318. I'd get that and the Edelbrock 500 cfm
Patrick ; Actually there's a guy here trying to sell a '70, 440 for $600. Very tempting, but I'm out of work right now, so it'll have to wait. All I meant to say was that 440 conversions are a lot more common than some of the rarer motors.
Whats wrong with Zeppelin!Back in the early 8o's I wanted to sand blast the zeppelin logo in my rear window of my Demon.
do what you wanna do. dont follow the herd, lead it.
Pillar ; I just put in my vote for Zeppelin. I saw them on their first U.S. tour at Boston Garden, and they set the standard for all the metal acts to follow.
Their sound was the equivalent of a Detroit heavy metal, 9 second , nitro hemi, blasting out of the chute. Like the cars of the '60's, there'll never be anything like that again.
All we can do is keep the memories alive. If Zep doesn't end up on your hood, it would still look good hanging from your mirror.
Kool Kar! I had a 64 Sport Fury with the 318 Semi-Hemi. Had a factory 4 barrel with a AFB I think. Ran strong, chirped second gear with the TorqueFlite without really tryin. That's a cool engine to Hot Rod. Bore it, stroke it, port the heads, cam it, fry them tires! Check out this , you'll dig it! http://www.1962to1965mopar.ornocar.com/poly318.html
