My Mopar history started with a 1948 Dodge pickup. My Dad was Service Manager for Lidgerwood Auto in the 50's and 60,s So I'm all Mopar. I progressed to a 1966 Dodge Coronet 4 door, Slant six 225 cu in. Top end 110 mph, that's what the highway patrolman said. Next a new lime green 1970 Dart Swinger 318 slightly modified. I ran a 16.3 quarter mile. Next a 1969 GTS Dart, 383 4 speed, that was my hunting car, if I couldn't shoot the birds, I'd run them down. I found my Brothers 1968 Charger R/T he bought new in 1988 in a field near Labolt South Dakota in 1988, restored it then needed money, it ran a 13.4 stock. Sold it for $5500 in 1996. Raced a 1967 Dodge Dart with a 360 and 340 X heads, ran a13.1. then a 1970 Charger R/T V code 440 six pack. Next a 1970 Dodge Dart GT, I shoehorned a modified 440 into it with a modified 727 transmission. On the Dyno it showed 847 ft lbs torque and 645 HP at the rear.wheels. Naturally aspirated. It really got squirrelly when I tromped on it. I now am working on my 1968 Dodge Coronet R/T. Within the next year i'll be in my mid 70's so this.will be my last one. Never say never. Doug
