Can any of you guys in the northern mid-west give me information about the reputation of any of these WI businesses? I’m looking at a car restored in the WI area which used these companies. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Toyland Auto Hixton, WI
Gil Worel

Powerline Dyno Service
Chippewa Falls, WI

Automotive Machine Works
Eau Claire, WI

Thanks!

what are you looking to have done?
Motor work? I live close to some of them. I haven’t heard of them

The car in question is a 1970 A33 GTX currently located in Texas. A prior owner was a Chevy guy with a large collection, who paid to have the car restored. Current owner bought it three years after restoration completed, a dozen years ago. History on the car is on the light side. OP is trying to determine the quality of the work, before looking further at the car.

ask them if you can look at 2-3 cars that they have restored and talk to the owners. It’s getting hard to find a good restoration shop I currently have 2 cars at different shops. Both of them aren’t taking any new customers. Good luck
