Sounds like you’re in a good position to get money back from the shop after you get the car home. Pictures tell the story. Body shop jail happens to lots of folks

They're going to make every excuse they can to keep my money. Late last night I received photos of the roof and quarters in primer. This is after I told the painter at least a week ago that I wanted to talk to him before he started any painting. I was mad as hell and told him so. HIs response: That's not paint, it's primer! I thought a vein was going to pop in my forehead. I told him to do nothing else to MY CAR and not to spend any more of MY MONEY!! We'll be picking it up next week.
