Help! Lower control arm bump stop removal

Hi FBBO!
I currently replace all my suspension bushings and when I came to the bump stop at the lower control arm there is a problem to remove the bolt. It‘s sitting in there with it‘s right side all the way to the control arm wall. So I can‘t reach it with a nut or wrench.
Is this normal? How can I remove the old ones?

Thinwall socket, or you make your own tool. I've done that on several occasions where I've had to modify either a wrench, socket, screwdriver, etc. for only one specific operation. Example, many years ago I modified a 5/8 socket to enable removal of #8 spark plugs on certain GM cars. ( Edit: if you're not re-using it, just cut it out. )

Grind down the outer diameter of an old socket that you won't mind modifying.

Just drill out the center of the bolt until you get through the threads. Do yourself a favor and start small and work your way up on the drill sizes.

Maybe just leave it.

I used a thin wall socket on mine.
