Does a 67 four door B body and a 69 Coronet convertible have the same floor pans other than the trunk?
I was thinking the trunk may be different because of the convertible top??I'm trying to picture this in my head. I'm pretty sure the trunk would be the same EXCEPT the placement/type of the spare tire bracket. The front floor pans are almost for sure the same too. The back floor pans, I'm not so sure about???
Well, opening the trunk like & looking forward there's some stuff that's not exactly the same for sure way up front/up high behind the back seat....the pump area. However, down low in the bottom/sides of the trunk I believe it's the same as a hardtop EXCEPT the hardtops have the spare tire bracket up sort of in the area of the top pump & convertibles have the spare in the passenger quarter panel side. At least on 70 convertibles, they use a 71-72 hardtop spare tire bracket (I'm doing this now on my car). Also, when I replaced my trunk sections, I didn't get "convertible" trunk panels & they look just fine, except the dummy that didn't save/replace my spare tire bracket & the dummy who didn't notice (me)I was thinking the trunk may be different because of the convertible top??
