HELP, No power

Ok, started the car the other day and it ran for about 5 minutes, ran good and everything. Then out of no where it died. But I noticed the electric fuel pump wasn't running. Turned it off then turned the key to the on position, nothing. No power to anything, lights, fans, fuel pump, nothing. Checked the connections on the battery and everything looks good. I'm at a loss. Not sure what's going on. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Two recent threads like this recently. Open the hood, put a fender cover over the drivers side. Reach in to the firewall and "massage the bulkhead connector with the ignition in the run position. See if the fuel pump starts. That was the magic for me thanks to HemiRebel, bigman and FBBO. If it does not work check the other threads. Good luck.

Starter jump short off the block? Had that problem when installing a new mini starter. It wasn't mini enough and shorted off the block. Different starter with more space from the block helped the problem.

But the starter doesn't even sound like it is getting power. Everything is dead.

Check fuses? loose or broken wire slipped off connector? splice come apart? You don't just loose power like that with out cut in the main source start from battery and go through to fuse box then to ignition switch.

Check the connector at the firewall and give it a rub and shake carefully, had the same problem with my A body.

If you have to shake a wire to get something to work.... it's only going to get worse over time... replace the contacts at the bulkhead with a solid wire or a bullet connectors.... the 1/4"'blade connections are a weak link and will eventually melt down.... corrosion will hide anywhere there is exposure to the air.... and will bleed from a pinhole to the length of the wire....

Need to start with the basics here and it requires a test light.
Do you have power at the battery?Do you have power at the starter solenoid? Once you get those answers,you can continue from there.
