Tearing apart an old 440 block I acquired that was sitting in an out building of a friends for several years and finally managed to get the frozen pistons and crank out, but one thing left to remove before I send it to the machine shop...the oil pressure sending unit simply won't budge. Tried soaking the base at the threads with PB Blaster and Kroil for days but the aluminum part my oil pressure sending unit socket fits on has now "rounded off" and even tightly clamped vise grips wont get the sending unit to turn t all. Wondering what you guys do in this situation? Not quite sure what my options are at this point.

It's going to a machine shop anyway.
Let them take it out, it's not a problem for them.

Try cutting it off high enough to put a stud remover on it, or, like stated above, just have the machine shop remove it.
