Looks like it could be a Mopar Performance 360 Magnum crate motor.

many thanks for prompt replies. what year this engine might come from?

Welcome!
They made those from 92-2002.
You need to look for casting date on the side..
Ex 16,04,98

Or the numbers on the front below the drivers side head

thanks! i couldn't imagine that this one is relatively modern. so to find out the specs of this engine i must know its production date.

You won't know the specs just by the date. It could be custom built with higher performance cam, crank, pistons, heads, etc. Might even be a 450+ HP 360 if you're lucky.

seems that future buying parts for this motor will be a nightmare :screwy:

Not at all. Lots of aftermarket parts for these and millions of 360 engines like this are still driving our roads. Ok maybe not millions but lots!

IF the motor is out of the car and you are going to be ordering parts anyway, so I assume you are wanting to upgrade the motor or ??? Then a little diagnostic research while pulling the motor apart can net you all the info you need about it.

The Magnum 360(5.9 CID) took place of the LA 360. Plenty of parts for these.
They also made Magnum 318(5.2 CID) that took the place of the LA 318.
Dead giveaway is the 10 bolt Valve Covers over the LA's 5 bolts.

Then there you go.
