Does anyone have the proper location/dimension for the Spare Tire Hold Down bracket. My car was without one. The previous owner replaced the trunk pan but did reweld the bracket. A simple rear trunk to back of bracket and right side of bracket to outside quarter or centerline?? Thanks in advanced. Robert

I appreciate the thread. I had missed it. It appears that the 68 used a different bracket if I see correctly. The convertible bracket for the 69 is the same as a 70 conv and also the same as the 71/72 hardtop. Does anyone know if this pic is correct for the 69 conv? I think I understood the fact concerning the brackets from AMD....

I don't have dimensions but you may be able to reference it from grooves or plugs in floor. This was my 69 Coronet R/T

Hey Rhelwood, I went through this exact situation with my 70 Roadrunner convt. I took a bunch of pictures at the 2011 Monster Mopar in Indianapolis. I made sure I only took pictures of original Roadrunner convt.'s when the owner of the car was there and could confirm it's originality.

The '69 Roadrunner convt's use the "loop and hook" like 5-windows links (see my pics attached) and it was the '70 Roadrunner convt's that used the '71-'72 hardtop brackets. That's not to say there couldn't have been some kind of mid-year change, but this is what I found on original cars.

Hope This Helps
