Hi everyone. First time post here. I just purchased a 68 Charger RT from a friend of mine, the 2nd owner. It's an original unmolested car (aside from the addition of some gaudy dark greenish-blue paint on the front of the car trying to accentuate the two indents in the doors that have been painted with just a hint of gold highlights, and a date correct Dana 60 to replace the original open 8 3/4 rear end). The car came to me disassembled and there might be a part or two missing but I believe I have everything down to the original radiator, exhaust manifolds, intake & carburetor, and near perfect original seats. The mileage is correct and the odometer has not yet rolled over. The exterior of the car is faded, and the vinyl top is torn badly but I see what I have here. I can see what options the car came with using my eyeballs, but I would love it if someone would help me to decode my build sheets so their can be no doubt. My first car was a non-RT 68 charger but I know nothing of the build codes or what they mean. I'm going to restore the car and while I can see it has mostly dark green interior, two tone seats, light green exterior, and even lighter green vinyl top, I don't know what the actual colors are for example. I hope this exercise will be fun for some/one of you. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome from Alabama. I can't tell you much about the build sheet, except that you have a real XS29 Charger R/T 440 automatic in TT1 green with green upper door panels. Most of the other options don't have enough resolution on my phone to read.

I have a larger screen but not enough knowledge. But have no fear, smarter minds will chime in. Very nice build sheet though. Congratulations on your purchase.

I bought David Wise's "Dodge and Plymouth General Field Guide 1962-74", Manual No. GFG-24, Volume 1.0 Version 4.0. MMC Detroit MMC Detroit. $46.95 all in. Lot's of great info in there, including production codes.
