Hello, I am purchasing a 1967 coronet 440 and I know the magnum 500 style road wheels were available as an option in that year. Could these wheels have been added from the factory, the car is a survivor car and is in great condition all things considered… I don’t recognize the center cap and know the radial tires are probably fairly new so just wondering about if the rims might be era correct?
Thanks!

I guess I should have titled my post a little differently, anyways I am pretty sure they weren’t stock center caps but this might be a better picture, I can’t find this style anywhere…

That almost looks like a Pontiac sticker. I don't think the outer wheel hoops are factory Mopar style, that almost looks like a 15 inch rim. My 67 GTX had factory wheels, not a good photo but I think yours are different unless it's just the photo angle.

Motor Wheel brand "Magnum 500" wheels were popular aftermarket.

Those do look like 15's.

The center caps are interchangeable with most gm and Mopar being the same style, while fords were different.
Stickers can be had in all sorts of styles including OEM Magnum 500.

A friend of mine had an original '68 GTX he bought from the original owner in 1969. The car had the original factory Magnum 500s, my car had an aftermarket set. Mine had shiny chrome centers, his had brushed stainless steel. Otherwise, they were identical.

EDITED:

The only magnum 500 wheel the factory used in 67-68 on a B-body was 14x5.5".
C-body used 14x6"

You have 15" so they were added later. Sticker in cap is 80's corvette

Do you have a broadcast sheet, it will tell you the wheels and caps.

Either Ford, or aftermarket.

I will check for the sheet when I pick the car up and get er home. I have a original set of hubcaps around here that are correct for the car, but the 500s look great on these cars so I think they will stay. I thought the 67 coronet R/T had 15 by 7 rims and those could be optioned on the other models?

The only 1967 B-body to have 15" wheels? RO23 and WO23 super stock cars.

Everything else was 14"

There were no 15" Magnums from Chrysler.

Yeah I kinda figured as much. They are pretty old though it seems, maybe one day I will see if they are date stamped or something.
Thanks!
Here's an original Ford rim on my Charger

The originals were made by motorwheel. Ford wheels have the ford oval on the insode wheel weight area. THe modern magnums? Probably china made so who knows whay stamp will be on them.

Those are some pretty old rims on there, they could be made in china though I guess lol

Yeah these are the center caps I see on most of the rims, I am just kinda curios if anyone may have seen the ones I posted as they are kinda a oddball that I can’t seem to see anywhere online.
Posts 4 and 6 address the center cap stickers

Looking a little closer, no I don't think yours are ford's.
They kinda look to be AMC. I never thought that all the manufacturers had little differences to the rims, now I know. I probably still couldn’t tell the difference, but there is subtle ones…

Original 67 Magnum wheels and 1979 dated redline tires.
