Help!!!!!! Got a set...thank you Dodge 330!

Crawled under the car after work ready to install my new SS springs, sat it in position, threw the new U-bolts on but wait.....something doesn't look right!
When they changed over to the 73 rear end they used the 73 plates under the springs. It throws off the geometery for the position of the shocks by at least 2 inches and I have 1.5 inches between the spring and the U-bolts since I'm not using the boxes with the rubber pads. I looked at the old air shocks and the rubbers are all bent out of shape from running at the odd angle. I need a set of lower plates for an 8 3/4 so I can mount my springs..can anyone help me out????? 1963 Dodge 440

Someone has to have a set laying around......

Red,new these days they go for $60 ish each.GOOGLE is your friend:bootyshake:

For new, probably..but for used they go for a whole lot less.:bootyshake:

Red;try Mancini or Roseville Moparts. Heck, maybe even Kramer's. When I put my S/S springs on,I used the original '64 plates,4 degree wedges and longer S/S shocks. No fitment issues. Since the springs lost their "Super" (they were used when I got them...),I've gone back to stock-type pieces with a couple of mods done to them. My rear axle is supposed to be a '65 piece;had no problems. Got pics of what we're dealing with here?

I hit the local CL listings a lot;I'll keep an eye out for something like that for ya.

I have an extra pair that look really nice hanging on my wall. (freshly de-rusted as an experiment).

PM me if you're interested. :3gears:
