Hemi Inline Air Cleaner wont fit Edelbrocks...

I have a 69-71 hemi air cleaner and it wont work on my engine due to running edelbrocks. Does anyone make adapters to run large dia carbs to fit small diameter intake holes?

I see they do the opposite but they cant just be flipped over and used. I need something that goes up some and clears the top of carb then reduces.

Any suggestions? Help

If there was such a thing it would probably raise the breather so high it wouldn't clear the hood

What series (Performers or Thunder series) and what CFM Edelbrocks are you running ?

There is a company called Classic Haulage in Canada that makes an aftermarket base for this application. I know they make it fror a 68-back with the round air cleaner, not sure about the 69 up.

This air cleaner looks like it is one of the fiberglass reproductions,
I have mounted several original air cleaners on Edelbrock Performers (used these as replacements for the original Carters AFBs ) using stock dual quad intakes with out any issues, can you post a picture of the bottom of the base plate ?
