Got the Milodon road race pan mocked up, looks great. Might hang down a half inch which is good. Waiting on an AN fitting, pan gasket and a new idler arm before final bolt up.

yep a skid plate would protect that pan well.

I am planning on running a stock pan with an external pick up, initial mock up suggests it should clean the rods (stock stroke)

I didn’t test mine but with the stroker crank and the huge vintage aluminum rods I doubt it would have cleared. Not thrilled about the aluminum rods but I’ll address that in the future.

Did you install those rods? What make are they? Hoe long/miles have they been in there??

I don’t know anything on the rods. My father in law pieced parts from various places. Pretty sure the rods are old, Mmt 2014 is the only marking I can find on them. I’ll switch over to steel rods in the near future.
