Herbs parts….. NEVER AGAIN

A friend ordered from Herbs back in early summer. He ordered a set of marker light housings for a duster. They came and were NOT for a duster but rather a B body. He had already painted them and didn’t find out until he went to install them. He has been dealing with them ever since and they were supposed to send a nice used set to him because they had them listed incorrectly. That was about 4 months ago. Every time he calls to check: “they will go out this week.” Their word means nothing. He offered to return the parts but the fact that they were painted in the issue.

AMS Obsolete owns Herbs Parts now and has for some time. I have never had a problem with Herbs or AMS Obsolete although Herb was always more personable.

I’m not sure if this is relevant to the conversation but I had great luck with Mega parts for new parts sounds like you need used parts . I agree with jimbosride! I will email a screen shot of this to. I hope it helps!

High percentage of the time I only use ....mega parts .....they stand behind the parts 100%..... They sent me the wrong hood pad for my 68 roadrunner a few years ago and figured out what they did wrong and corrected it immediately by sending another pad and didn't want the first one back... Jamie and his dad. Awesome people!

Thank you everyone. He purchased through Herbs because they supposedly had repopped 70 duster housings but they were actually b body. He has learned his lesson and will be hunting a good pair or the proper housings.

AMS bought Herbs I think about 9 years ago. I have always had very good service since I started purchasing things about 2016.

I’m sure he could but the point is they have them listed wrong and agreed to make it right. They have been “shipping” them for 4 months.

I just wanted to keep everybody updated I took the recommendations and copied a screenshot of the post and emailed it to Herbs Parts. I sent the email two days ago and I’m yet to get a reply. I would expect nothing different from this horrible company.

Try calling AMS. I met Herb and some family members at Mopars at the Park. Lovely people, bought some stuff from them. Left my credit card behind, they contacted the Police, and sent me the card through registered mail. All they knew was that through discussion they knew where we were from.
I hate to see Herbs name being dragged in.
Perhaps it could be posted as Herbs Parts owned by AMS.
I hope Herbs family don’t know about this situation.

The order was placed with Herbsparts.com. I’m not sure what type of knowledge they have about the whole situation but I’d imagine it would be at least some. They have been called several times and emailed several times. This is not the way I prefer to do business and am certainly not one to make a habit out of dragging people through the mud but these folks deserve it!

When you buy parts from Herb’s, you’re not dealing with Herb, you’re dealing with AMS.
