Herbs parts….. NEVER AGAIN

Bought new old stock 440 rocker arms from them few years back, they sent me all lefts, call them and they sent me set of rights and return label and I drove down and picked up some body sheet metal and have order other parts with no problems. This was from AMS.

I understand that but the address is HERBSPARTS.COM. The phone number associated with that web page and the email [email protected] is who the issue was with. I’m in no way saying HERB is a jerk, I’m saying don’t deal with HERBS PARTS. “A division of AMS obsolete.”
I think I have missed explaining. Example, I wanted to order Herbs dyes a couple of years ago. I contacted AMS to send them to a friend who was in AZ, everything worked well.
I have always used PPR persistence paralyzes resistance

Persistence has consisted of 1/2 dz phone calls and several emails. I will take my business to someone that appreciates my business and doesn’t need hounded to fulfill their promises. I’m happy for the ones that have never had a problem and I wish that was the same experience I had.

I know you understand that, but that address, email and phone number is owned by AMS obsolete.
It’s a redirect to AMS obsolete. Herbs parts don’t exist anymore.

It sounds like the big problem is a vendor isn't doing what they say they will do. And that would be frustrating.
I could tell of all my misspent money that made me feel stupid. But even AMD will tell us to check fit before painting.
So, I would think in most cases it would be on the buyer if the wrong part was sent and it didn't fit after painting.
I don't think that is the issue here then.
I bought some grommets from DMT and as soon as I called he realized they had sent the wrong part without me even explaining what I had in my hand.
New ones sent.
I've never had an issue with a vendor as soon as they realized I was trying to be reasonable about mistakes.
One thing I'm very hesitant to do is trash a vendor since in our world EVERY vendor is valuable because it isn't a Mustang or Camaro we are trying to get parts for.

Mega parts is fine if you have a 68 through 70 B-body, hemi, or six pack. Other than that, their inventory is limited
