I'm one of those guys (I'm not all that old, in my mind 62),
but that wishes I didn't sell many of my cars/trucks
I'm on #111
26 of which were racecars
but;
back in the 70s & 80s they were just old used cars
$1500 cars, not really collector cars, a dime a dozen
26 of my cars have been 68-70 B-Bodies, RR (13),
Sport Satellite 3883 4bbl 4 speed (my parent's old car, they bought new in 68)
& Chargers (12)
a couple of A-bodies Demon, Duster & Barracuda
lots of GM products (lots of Camaros) Pontiacs
(mostly Trans Ams, Firehawks, Firebirds, Formulas & GTO)
Lots of 4x4s & Jeeps, a few Fords Buick Olds, MGs & Triumphs,
an E-type Jag (73) & 911 Porsche (78)

there was always some reason I sold something
I did have sellers remorse a few times
But;
I usually got bored & wanted to get something else
or get more room in my shop
I had six kids I raised (not all mine) I helped supply cars/Trucks,
helped add to that #

Thanks! I was just in Ohio. Dayton/Troy area. Went to the Air Force museum while we were there. Amazing place.

Wow, that’s a lot. Haven’t had that many. But I do get attached. They become more than just machines to me. I’m guessing there are many of us that get like that though. I’ve also got a 29 Model A, 65 Valiant vert and a 71 Javelin. Hopefully my kids will stay interested and inherit them.

I worked for a large dealership group doing facility management
cars just found me
& drag racing was my life back then
