Kinda nice to have a place to fit in. I don't have an e-body or a Hemi, so most people don't think I really have a Mopar...

I do however have a '67 Belvedere II convertible. Her name is Belle. No I don't normally name my cars, but she's kinda part of the family. My wife calls Belle my mistress.

I've had her for about 9 years now. I started tearing her down for a restore shortly after bringing her home, but life got in the way. About 3 years ago I proposed to my now wife, and it was decided she could have whatever wedding she wanted as long as we drove my Belvedere, so I tore into it. I didn't get everything done that I wanted, but I'm working on it.

She is now the new Go ManGo with black interior, 318/727. I've shaved a lot of trim, and made a few minor changes. Not to intentionally tick off the purist, but I love my car either way...

So, I'll shut up now.

This is her just before heading over to my friends for paint...

Welcome aboard. I'm lucky to have an E body Cuda and a Duster and a Magnum, A, B, E. No C's though. No HEMI's here. If I get one, it'll be via lotto only or it'll be a hand me down 392 or smaller oldie.

Nice.....I tried to join an E-body site once but they told me my 401K was too small....

Sweet ride!!!! I have a 69 Charger, but I have been keeping my eye out for a 67 Plymouth B-body for my next project... I want one of those.

i have an e-body also.. but since its a 74 318 car i really dont feel like i fit in...

Thanks for the warm welcome. Looks like this could be a good new hangout for me...

Thanks...

I just thought of something interesting. Actually I was reminded of it by running into an old friend from highschool. My buddy and I skipped our 10 year HS reunion to drop the motor and tranny back in Belle. We were both too excited to see Belle run again, to worry about seeing people we probably didn't remember... :D

BTW, mguner, that's quite a collection in your sig. Are those all cars you currently own? I've got too many myself, although there's not a lot of highly sought after iron around here. I REALLY need to thin the herd. I kinda like to get it down to just the Belvedere, Camino, Civic, Avalanche and 325i

We have:

67 Belvedere II vert
75 F100 SWB 390/C6 (not mine yet, but will be soon, however it was mine about 3 years ago)
77 Camino 350/200-4R
87 Chevy conversion van (wife's parents gave us. It will hopefully be donating its drivetrain to Dad's 68 Impala wagaon, and brakes to Grandpa's (RIP) 64 long bed)
89 Mark VII (driveshaft is messed up. Originally got this for FFR donor car, but may use it for the 75 F100 donor)
94 Maxima (my current daily driver)
94 325i vert 5-spd (needs some work. I'm thinking REALLY hard about an LS1/T56 conversion)
03 Civic EX auto (wifes daily driver. Although her commute will be cut to almost nothing in 2 weeks, so we may be trading daily drivers)
08 Avalanche 4WD 3LT, rainsense, autolock rear diff and 20's (my toy/future family vehicle)
There's also a small chance I might be acquiring a 78 F100 short step. If so it will get the Mark VII drivetrain, and will probably be toyed with until I can find someone who wants it more than I...
Dad and I also picked up a 76 Malibu yesterday. It is definitely a parts car. Been hit hard in front, but has a pretty nice black bucket/console interior. He has a 77 Sprint, and we both needed parts...

Sorry, just wanted ya'll to know a little about me. I'll be honest I'm not a diehard Mopar guy. As much as I do love the Mopars I'm probably more of an old Chevy guy, at least when it comes to knowledge/experience.

I would also like to mention I'm hunting the '69 Road Runner Dad bought new. I've got the VIN written down at work, and would be interested in knowing if anyone could help me locate the car. Even though there's a very slim chance its still around or even available I would still like to know what happened to it, and if at all possible have it back in the family... I'll probably make a new post for that though, once I figure out where to put it...

Okay, I'm tired, I guess I need to put the keyboard down...

closer9, I could tell by your list of vehicles that you may have other interests besides Mopars but that's ok. Some of us have other cars as well.
