Using my phone, pics won't load due to insufficient memory. I'll post some when I get home tomorrow or Monday.
Build sheet info:
B3 blue, 383-2, light package, white hat special with white vinyl top, 2 tone blue buckets, console, 727 on floor, A/C, manual drum brakes, PS (now manual and badly done), IIRC 2.76 rear.
When I first met Helga for the first time, I just tried to be friendly without talking cars. I showed her pics of my Val vert and 68 cuda so she understood I am a Mopar guy.
When we went out to lunch weeks later, after seeing the car for the first time, she told me she had a standing offer from one of Ty's buddies, Rocco, (car flipper) so I offered 3K more and she said ok. Then she started crying because she was so happy and relieved it wasn't going to Rocco. Ty had told her whatever happens DO NOT sell it to Rocco.
I paid her a few days later and she went with me to transfer the title.
