Welcome from Iowa. Nice Charger !
Thanks for posting pictures right off. We like pictures.
Door windows.... even if you can work them up nice and slow those regulators inside the door need lubed.
Pull the crank, handle, arm rest ect and nice and careful remove the door panels.
Use some PB blaster , wd 40 ect and hose all the moving parts..

Thank you, I know this is going to take a while but I am so excited to be able to do this! Drivers side won’t go down, passenger side goes up and down but slowly moves down. The back two I’m just leaving alone for now, scared to touch them hah

Nice car. Skys the limit since it does not have a motor. Does it have a transmission? I would pull the seats and carpet as well as trunk liner to figure what metal repair needs to be done. Do all metal repair and primer and seal the undercarriage. Then move on to the suspension and chassis. Good luck.

She does have a transmission, so that’s good. I may be able to get the original motor but I’m not sure yet. Thanks, that sounds like a good start!!

You now own a first generation Charger. That is awesome. Get ready for a journey. Seriously, you'll be amazed at the knowledge and friends you'll gain! As to your question starting off....hmmmm....here's some advice:

Look around your garage/shop and decide where this necessary sign will go...

Smile!! Tommy
Will definitely get that sign!! Husband said probably get it in foam so it won’t hurt too much!!!!

Welcome to the site!! The window mechanisms probably need to be cleaned and lubricated. My 66 Belvedere got that shortly after I bought it in 88. It's a sedan so maybe it was easier to do? Anyways, it wasn't all that difficult but you need to be careful of the sharp edges inside the doors. I took some time to hit all the openings with a fine file which made a big difference.

Automatic or manual? What was the original engine? I am assuming a 383 or 440 since it was taken from the car. I can’t see somebody wanting a 273 bad enough to scalp one from that charger.
