My neighbor and her 3 year old daughter were over yesterday and I noticed she was outgrowing her denim jacket.
So, I get to thinking.....

A quick trip to Kohls and a a dig through my patch collection.

I can't wait to start on a minibike for her. We restored a Rupp Roadster for our girl 5 years ago, now it's in her bedroom at the lake.

I wasn't really sure where to post this....

Nice! I'm going to steal your idea for my kid.

You did that for your neighbors kid! What an awesome neighbor.

Pics of the Roadster please! My uncle is into Rupps, has '76 & '75 Nitros, 44 Sprint, American, GoJo and a Roadster. Roadster is blasted down to bare metal, waiting for paint.
Back in the day he had a '76 Magnum, I remember getting rides on that. That was a cool sled.

Thanks guys. She's such a great little girl. You'd swear she was 5 or six. Smart as a whip. She loves riding on the vintage snowmobiles and on our Kubota side by side.

Her dad rides motorcycle too, so I figured I throw some of our old run patches on there :)

I collect minibikes (lots of Rupps) and I have a 77 Nitro and a 76 Alouette Sno Brute (made by Rupp).

Here's my Roadster 2 and the kid's Roadster at a bike show a couple years ago.

Two things happen when people see Rupps at a show. Whe people stop and look they make one of two comments.

1. I had one of those when I was a kid (the lesser heard comment)

2. "A kid in our neighborhood had one of those growing up" (they always recite the name too).

Thanks for the pics. Bikes look great!
Uncles Roadster is a 2 also, has 12" rims. It's all a part and been soda blasted, waiting for me to prime it. Was metallic blue but he wants it red to match the fleet.
I read your post too fast and thought you had a '76 Super Brute! Either way like the Rupps.

that's awesome!! So... lets get this straight; by day your an 800+ HP, 800+ TQ HEMI builder and by night your a seamstress for the neighbor kids?... I can not think of a better way to spend time! God love ya!!

I like the flood run patch. Things get pretty crowded in town during the flood and nuts runs!

Ha! That ones ours. We built this bike when she was 9. The neighbor girl has a few years till she can spin wrenches, bead blast and paint :)
She's a good looking girl. Probably gets it from her mother!!!!

You are a nice person though!!!:toothy9:

There's nothing worse than being called "a nice person though!"
