Same with my old Raleigh bicycle.

I had a Raleigh Chopper just like this one.......... believe it or not, I never took it apart......but I was probably 10 years old

Bendin fenders on model T's I'd assume?

I worked and saved for years
So, you were slathering bondo at 3?

:poke:

My parents thought it built character by not having the latest fad things. They didn't have a color TV until the late 70's. Not kidding.

My neighbor had one similar that he wanted to sell me, I think 40-50 bucks?? Waaay too rich for my finances.. but it had a square cut drag tire and long chopper forks. I think they were redline tires. Funny the things you regret not doing lol

Don't remember having a color TV until I moved out in late 69 and then didn't buy one. Had a 13" just to watch the weather to see it I could ride my bike to work the next day and well, usually got wet. Well, didn't have a bike until early 73 and usually got wet because I hated driving my 71 Stooopid Beetle that was a RPOS!
