Hello,

Little about me. I am 26, a military vet, just about college grad and probably re-enlisting.

Anywho, I have been saving up quite a bit of money while searching for my perfect dream ride. Im here to soak up info and maybe find the car I am looking for. Which would be a 68-70 charger that could use some TLC/a running project. Or even a solid body with no motor or tranny. Big ideas for the car. Ill make sure to update regularly if I manage to find what I am looking for.

Welcome Dante and thanks for your service young brother. Where are you in Texas?

Dante welcome to FBBO, thanks for your service, it can't be said enough & good luck with your search for a nice workable 68-70 Charger project, I highly suggest buying something from the west coast or south west, even a project someone else bailed on because prices have dropped some & they are buried financially in the project & just want to bail, their loss your gain, so you don't waste too much of your hard earned money & allot of free time, having to replace allot more of the sheet metal parts, you can actually spend more time enjoying it & driving it between deployments...

Welcome to the site Dante, this is a great site without a lot of knowledge so have fun with it. And thank you for your service

PS: You dont want to re-enlist if you can get a Comission do you?

Thanks again...

Welcome and thanks for your service. I retired from US Army aviation after 20 years and 25 days back in Jan 94. Glad to have another service member on board.

Welcome to FBBO Dante. Thank you for serving your country and congrats on your upcoming college graduation.:icon_thumright:

Thanks for the warm welcome everybody. Texas Wise I am currently in Corpus Christi. Grew up around the Houston area and will probably be going back to houston for a few months before I ship off to basic (for a second time. Lol).

Army stuff: I was Infantry, probably will go back to that. As far as enlisting vs commission Im about 70/30 enlist/ocs. After all Im still young, so I can do my enlisted time and if I want to move up I can go either Warrant or Officer. Going in officer would make it more difficult to go back to enlisted and what not.

Hola from Pennsylvania, welcome to FBBO from another 11B (retired, first 6 yrs of service). 11B is not bad, where else can you get paid to be out doors in the fresh air and practicing your stealth hunting skills.

Welcome to here. I'm on the 'far' side of Houston and spent some 'time' in the AF

Truth. When I re-enlist I will probably be going infantry since the Army is kind of a hassle to rejoin when you are prior service. Get paid to get in shape, shoot guns, jump out of planes. Damn near perfect.

I did the same thing, got out and six years later had to go 11B to get back in. No problem, it was like being paid to be on vacation.
