A couple of weeks ago I was remarking on a problem a poster was having with a six-pack set-up. I said that there was an article in Car Craft worth reading. Well, after searching everywhere for it, I discovered that the article was actually in Hot Rod. July, 2013 issue, Hot Rod To The Rescue, page 132. Tried to get a link to the article but no such luck. Hope this helps.

Thanks Dave .. don't worry about the thread tools with links just copy and post it directly into your comment .. if you can locate it again please post it

Problem is I can't locate it on their site. Searched everything I could think of, but no luck. I can scan it and email it to whoever wants it. Just PM me.

the best magazine article on 6-paks was done by car craft (yep! before they became chevy craft) in the very early '70's. this article gave a lot of detailed specifics on the carbs. the later articles never seemed to address the tuning issues like that old article. there's a lot of printed info and internet info that take the user everywhere but the basics. the idle circuts on all three carbs are lean, and the main metering on the center carb is lean. don't try to re-engineer them.

Scan and post here please .. .pdf file would be best. Or you can save it as a .pdf on a file server somewhere and link to it so we can download.

Thanks!

Do you have it or know where to find it by any chance?
