Subject: A 1965 Plymouth Bites the Dust !!
carfinal.gif

Here’s a 1965 Plymouth Belvedere with a Street Wedge platform using a 440 block that had very few miles on her since its restoration.

A young man while high on methamphetamine stole this Black Beauty and crashed it into a tree at a reported 150 mph.

Below are some photos of the car before the gruesome collision, then after....................
Ya'll be careful out there, ya hear?

HolyCrap is an understatement!!!! Hope the kid learned something...

Wow, that is an amazing wreck, and a total shame.

That's a Bob Mosher built car too...

yay meth heads.

well he`s on the other side now hope he learned something , to bad for the owner that was a nice car :angry1:

Holy Crap IIII !!!!!! That was an awesome car. I also believe it was a Mosher built car. So sad. I hope the owner had good insurance ? Ron

he`s now a mini me ,don`t think he`ll try that again:eusa_think:

That's horrific!! And who would mess with Mr. Mosher? He's like a living saint in the world of '62-'65 b-bodies. I am glad the kid didn't die but so many lost hours in that build.

In the first "after" pic you can see a red air cleaner pie tin that says 426 on it. Air cleaner in the "before" pic didn't have it. guess it could have been put on before it was stolen.

theres NOTHING worse than a thief....NOTHHHHINGGGGGGGGGGG. if he aint dead then he should be....NO I DONT FEEL BAD FOR DRUGGED UP DOPE ADDICT THIEVES !

i hope the thievin' bastard did live ...and he should be forced to look at the before pix and after pix everyday for the rest of his life !

have a nice day!

If you look closely, they are 2 different air cleaners. The one in the wrecked picture has the indents on the top, which would be correct for a '65 car.

Looks like there might have been some chrome valve covers too, since that chrome air cleaner is a Street Wedge piece the owner prob put the SW parts on it before Mr. Sunshine stole it.

I keep looking at these pics... you know the car actually held up pretty well. Considering the level of damage, the front frame is still out front and the car didn't collapse completely. The 150mph might be a bit of an exaggeration. Interesting.

Still a damn shame, I love 65 plymouth post sedans...
