Hood Hinge Springs

Does Anyone Know a easy way to install springs on your hood hinges? Thanks

I used vise grips on my car...no problem

Ratchet strap.

I use a loop of good, sturdy nylon rope and gloves. Hook back end of spring onto hinge and then pull front of spring forward with the loop until you can hook it on the front of hinge. Keeps your hands away from danger. Very easy with this set-up.
