Hood Lip Chrome Trim on '68 ('69) Coronet

Just be glad your 68 does not require that trim piece. They are as hard to find as a steel penny. Luckily, I found one in Texas for my 69 hood I bought that was missing the trim piece.

Thanks that answers it. That is the hole pattern in mine. It must have gotten a 69 hood back in the 70s when the collision repair was done. It also has a Plymouth rocker trim on the drivers side. It appears that part is not separate in the parts catalog so yes it seems it could be hard to find them.
