Just put the ladder bar is one higher hole on the crossmamber. It was hooking great.Nice and straight and pretty high but it just seemed like it wanted a tad more. Hope it doesn't go too high.

I can fine tune with the frontend with the double adjustable shocks. I'm one hole down from the top. It use to be in the top hole and it was crazy. I brought it down 2 holes and it was a much calmer ride but not fun enough. I like a little unpredictability.

its all fun until you snap an axle in a wheely and suck the wall!i know for experience.try to keep my fronts at about 6 inch max lift now.

I'm not a fan of big wheelies either.....pulling em 8" and having a gentle landing is good enough. Imo, anything more than that is wasted motion. Looks cool tho lol

one word AWESOME!!!!! That looks cool as hell.
Mike

I love it.. I would much rather as a fan watch a car that will pull the wheels up then see one just go down the track. The tracks make money off of the fans... And this will bring people to the fence to see it go down the track.. I may move mine up a hole to see what it does...

In the next week or so im going to change my bars on my 63 white plymouth. it hits way too soft for my liking and i get little to no air. And it goes 10.00
As far as the 65 hemi Belvedere, its probably the most fun car I drive.

Btw, SSR, my 4 year old says your avatar looks like a crocodile about to eat something. Haha, not too far off i think.

I wish I could afford to go with suspension I could adjust ! But I gotta admit the big wheelies look cool even if you loose the race ! Ron

Ron I do this with Caltracs and QA-1 shocks. No wheel tubs and stock spring location. Not too much $, just some time getting it set up image.jpg

I loved that car on Pinks all Out.... Big wheelies, look cool to the race fans that's for sure, moving forward is the name of the game thou...

Unless you are bracket racing like 90% of the locals do now a days. Then it does not matter as long as it runs the number...

Maple Grove had that track prepped big time until the arguement with the track tech inspector Bruce Wilson, he put the skabosh on any further track prep after the incident with the datsun deep staging.
After the white mustang broke a brake line, there WAS NO CLEANUP after that happened. Sucked for me because like an idiot i had lane choice and picked that left lane which was full of brake fluid.

thats correct but you need a dialed in suspension to make that happen.it took me years of trial n error to make it work the way it does.
