Horn beeps when turning steering wheel

I am having the same issue with the horn, i have a Grant steering wheel and adapter kit.
The brass coating from that horn contact ring is coming off due to constant contact with the spring loaded brass post wheel/roller.
All these flakes of brass make contact somehow i believe, but only when turning the wheel during parking when using full turns.
I just replaced the steering adapter kit but haven't tested it yet so i am not sure it solved the issue.
Hope it is over, because looks pretty stupid when trying to park it and beeping the horn all the time..
