The horn in my 70 RR 383 auto started out honking intermittently and now honks continuously. All the wiring was tested for continuity with only the black wire from the relay to the main bulkhead connector not having continuity. So it looks like the short is in the wiring under the dash. My car is an AC car so I can't even see the bulkhead connector from under the dash because of all the AC stuff. Any Ideas about what I could do before I start removing the vent connections and hose from vent to AC box? If it wasn't a beep beep horn I would just unplug it but the horn is the sound of the RR! People want to hear it!

Sounds like your horn relay has jammed the contacts closed. Or if the relay has been by-passed, the horn ring contacts could be 'welded' closed.

I figured it was the relay also but I pulled it and opened it up and it was not stuck and didn't show any sign of being hot or welded. I may replace it anyway just to get rid of that variable.

Disconnect the wire at the horn, and hit the horn button. The relay should click away each time you hit the horn button.
If that doesn't work, you may have a crossed wire en-route to the horn.

Check plug on steering column that you'd unplug if you were going to remove it. Once had a bad connection and burned wire inside plug. I never had it apart.

Is your name another way of saying Frau Blucher?

I had a 1977 fury, a long time ago... did the same thing. (loved that car!)
The horn button on the steering wheel makes the ground for the horn relay when pressed.
The foam inside the pad had broken down and the contact was being made continuously.
I suspect this is the culprit.
