The shop I work at went from 25 cars a week to 4 cars. The boss is playing devil advicate figuring it wouldnt effect him. With out giving consideration to his employees. To him ,greed is king. If youve ever heard of united we stand divided we fall. This might be it.

I know that . Im sure he does too. He needs us more than we need him when this is all resolved and cleared up. Im sure there will be repercussions on his part coming up.

Our body shop is running at our regular pace. We have a couple projects to fill in with if needed.
No problems so far with parts supply and paint ect. Except for them damn dust masks LOL we now use them till their trashed.

I am doing the same with the dust mask. It is just stupid that non medical mask are in shortage. If not for the dam bands I could wash them out and reuse them. But mine are not exposed to paint particles.

I do Property Maintenance and this my busy time of year. I work outside around No-one so as long as they allow travel on the roads and I can get Fuel it will not affect my business. I already spoke with my local repair shop and he said he will be able to get me parts if needed and any repairs if I should break something... Hang in there!!

I'm retired but own commercial and residential properties. My business is collecting rents. Not sure what is going to happen when rent comes due. I know from past experience that renters that need payment plans rarely follow through and just don't pay. Due to the current situation I won't expect to be paid but will only hope. I can survive longer than most unemployed. People just need to take this virus seriously and follow the advice from the health professionals. Hopefully we can flatten the curve long enough until a vaccine is mass produced.

As long as we stay so busy I am having the shop buy lunch for the employees on Tuesday and I will buy him lunch on Friday. We have a lot of small restaurants/bars that are struggling now Shop local if you can

That being said and from the very beginning my concern was for small business owners. I’m pretty sure I can survive off the income noted above. The SB folks many times have everything they own wrapped up in their business. I feel so bad for all in the situation. I hope to be of as much support as possible to help them come back. We all need to stick together - buy USA no matter the costs! This is our WWII. Let’s meet it with dignity and resolve!

100% agree, support your community & our nation... Thinking globally is wonderful but when the rest of the world does not subscribe to that idea you lose...

We started backup this week. The forced vacation is now over. We will still be limiting work locations. Like if we don't know you we are not coming.
