How knows what these numbers are?

Hey all,

Todat noticed some numbers on the passenger side fender inside the engine compartment.
What are these numbers? Part numbers?, numbers referring to the car model or VIN number?

Looks like a part number.

Those numbers used by the metal shop to assemble the body and pieces correctly....there are more all over the car.

These numbers have no reference to the model of the car?
As i was looking at it was RWS: Right side WS Coronet (Special)

Every body line has stampings so the metal shop can assemble them correctly based on body style....some similar and some specific.....

For example same year b body in any style will have the same frame rail stamps. A charger fender will have a stamp but related to the charger line....

So some on your car relates and some do not....
