I Just Had to use the Heat Wrench to remove the upper ball joints on the 65 Bell. These were definitely replacements. So my question is ... can I feel comfortable Scewing in yet another pair? The arms appear to look fine, however, I take Issue with the threaded area. How much is too much? This will be the third set. Its starting to look a little more chewed up in the bore than I like. Did Ma Mopar have these multiple replacements in mind when they planned the life expectency? Need Input! Thanks Everyone. TL

Run your fingers across them & see if you can still feel threads. If they are all but smooth, I wouldn't trust them. I would think the only way you can screw the threads up is to cross thread them.

When our economy was AMERICAN, we had cars that were meant to be replaced at or before 100,000 miles. People bought new cars fairly frequently. I can't even remember how many old mopars I had, that were completely worn-out at 70K of daily driving.
